HP Unveils Range of Innovative and Stylish Devices for Consumers
HP reveals stylish and affordable Windows notebook PCs and tablets and reinvents the Desktop PC for the home

Bangalore, January 13, 2014 — HP India (NASDAQ:HPQ) today announced a range of new consumer products - an 11.6-inchnotebook HP Stream, two tablets including the HP Stream 8 and HP Slate6 VoiceTab II, and one palm sized desktop HP Pavilion Mini Desktop designed to boost performance and maximize productivity to transform the way people engage and consume content.

"Overall demand for innovative and mobility devices is increasing in India and consumers are looking for devices that can be used for both work and play," said Ketan Patel, Director, Computing category, Printing and Personal Systems, HP India. "By introducing this new range of mobile computing devices, HP is looking to blend technology seamlessly into the lifestyle of the new age consumer by catering to their diverse demands around flexibility, performance and style."

A NEW kind of notebook PC -- HP Stream
The innovative HP Stream is a new kind of Windows notebook PC that provides unsurpassed value in a thin and light package, and includes value-added services with free cloud storage for instant access and sharing of content with 1TB of Microsoft OneDrive(1) for one year; Office 365(2) Personal for one year(2) to edit, share or collaborate in real-time.
In the past customers have had to choose between expensive thin and light or less expensive PCs that were typically thicker and heavier. HP Stream customers can enjoy the best of both worlds in a thin, light and affordable notebook PC with the power for most every day computing tasks.
Customers can enjoy entertainment in high-definition(3) (HD) with an 11.6" HD display. While the innovative fan-less design with high efficiency Intel® Celeron™ processor and 32GB of eMMC flash memory allows for quiet, cool operation and quick file recall, the stunning color and stylish gradient design available in Horizon Blue is sure to turn heads.

Sleek design, value-added cloud services and long battery life(4) make the HP Stream an attractive mobile device for on-the-go customers.

Mighty Powerhouse, Compact Design
Consumers want a powerful and refined desktop PC to complement their personal style and homes without creating more clutter while maintaining a designated place for friends and families to come together to share, create, and be entertained.  At only 2.06 inches in height and weighing just 630 grams.(5) the HP Pavilion Mini Desktop can fit in the palm of a hand. It maximizes productivity enabled by Windows 8.1(6) and supports processors up to Intel® Core™ i3. (7) Customers can store and connect to more videos and photos with up to 1 TB storage (8) and up to 8 GB of expandable memory.(9) Consumers can also immerse themselves in casual gaming and entertainment using the dual display support with DisplayPort and HDMI compatible ports, giving them the ability to stream and access content on multiple screens, including TV with Quad HD(3) support.

The HP Pavilion Mini Desktop is ENERGY STAR® certified, drawing up to 45 watts of power compared to 250 watts for a typical tower PC.  Built-in Wi-Fi(10) and Bluetooth® allow customers to connect with Bluetooth accessories. With the decline use of optical DVD media in a more connected digital world, the HP Pavilion Mini Desktop does not include an optical drive.  External USB optical drive can be used through any of the four USB ports. The HP Pavilion Mini Desktop comes in Snow White to effortlessly complement home d├ęcor.
